Can I use a family member as the person on site?
Yes. Many owners use a relative. Anyone you trust who can reach the property and has a smartphone can do it.
A family member, a caretaker, a neighbour you trust, your foreman or a site supervisor can all do visits. A record also protects them: it shows clearly what they found and when.
