Privacy policy

NEMZIO is operated by World of Percy LLC. This page explains what we collect, why, who processes it, who can see it, how long we keep it, and your choices. Questions: help@sitewitness.worldofpercy.com.

Legal reviewController details (postal address, and any EU/UK representative or data protection registration) will be added here.

What we collect

  • Your account: name, email, country, password (stored only as a hash), two-step settings, your language, units and notification choices, and a referral code if you entered one. A phone or WhatsApp number only if you add one: we don't ask for it at sign-up, and need it only when you order a land check, so our team can reach you about it.
  • Billing: your plan, its status and invoice references, and the billing details you give for receipts (legal name, address, tax ID, purchase order, invoice email). Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see card numbers.
  • Property records: what owners enter, such as names, addresses or directions, boundaries, plot references, seller names, private notes and documents, plus contact details of people named for backup visits or ownership transfers.
  • Visits: photos and videos taken in the app (videos include sound); the phone's location about once a second throughout an open visit, with its accuracy; the photo files' own details (EXIF), which can include location; capture times by the phone and by us; which way the phone faced and how it moved during guided steps; device details (model, system and app version, permissions, and whether the phone reported a simulated location or is an emulator); an ID for the app install; and the country of the network the evidence was sent from, worked out from the IP address. See what a visit records.
  • Signing in and security: sign-in records with the browser or device description and country, and IP addresses used to limit repeated attempts.
  • Support and help: support conversations and attachments, misuse reports and feedback; questions asked to Ask NEMZIO (with codes and contact details removed) and your Assistant conversations.
  • ID checks: if you do one, Stripe Identity processes your ID document and selfie (including biometric data) under its own privacy policy. We receive only the result and its status, never the images.
  • Using the service: product events without your name or email, to understand which parts work. They're kept for up to 400 days.

Why we use it

To run the service you asked for (accounts, properties, visits, checks, records, sharing, billing and support), to keep it secure and prevent misuse, to meet legal obligations, and to improve it.

Legal reviewThe legal basis for each use (contract, legitimate interests, legal obligation or consent), including for location tracks during visits and for biometric ID checks, will be set out here after counsel's review.

Who can see it

A property's records are seen by its owner and the people the owner chooses (co-owners, viewers, people on site), each within the access the owner gives. Public share links show only what's described on them: the area, never the address, exact locations or the people involved.

NEMZIO staff. Support sees a support request's details, and a property's evidence only when its owner allows it, for a few hours, recorded. Staff who run the service can also see account details and the operational details of visits (times, positions and events) to fix problems and investigate misuse; that access is limited to the staff who need it. When land checks open, the documents and address for an order go to the professional doing the work and to our operations team.

AI processing

On paid plans, photos, documents and visit details are sent to an AI provider to read documents, describe photos, compare visits, estimate milestones and test claims; the Assistant sends your question and the records it needs; support reply drafts send the request; Ask NEMZIO sends your question and our help articles. Results from AI are labelled as automated. The providers are listed below.

Legal reviewWhether these providers may use the data to train or improve their models, and on what terms, will be stated here before launch.

How long we keep it

Records are kept while your account is open. How long evidence is kept after an account is closed will be published before launch. Cancelling a plan doesn't delete anything. When you delete your account, your personal details are removed after a waiting period (you can cancel meanwhile) and the property evidence is archived. Evidence under a dispute or an evidence hold is kept until the hold is released.

Your choices and rights

  • Export your data at any time (Account → Data & privacy).
  • Delete your account (Account → Data & privacy → Delete your account).
  • Choose which notices reach you by email or push.
  • Ask us anything about your data: help@sitewitness.worldofpercy.com.
Legal reviewYour rights to access, correct, object to or restrict processing, and to complain to a data protection authority (for example the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, Ghana's Data Protection Commission, Jamaica's Information Commissioner, or your EU/UK authority), with how and how fast we respond, will be set out here.

Children

Legal reviewNEMZIO is meant for adults. The minimum age, and what happens if we learn a child has used it, will be confirmed here.
