Getting started
Ways people use NEMZION
People use NEMZION to follow a build from abroad, watch over empty land, look in on a parents' house, see land before they buy, keep rented property in order, share family property, give owners a record of site visits and follow a project back home.
In every case it works the same way. You choose who visits. They take photos and short videos in the NEMZION app, and each one keeps where and when it was taken. You see every visit on a timeline and can compare visits side by side. NEMZION doesn't send its own staff.
- [Building from abroad](/uses/building-from-abroad). See whether the work has moved before you send more money, and put this month's visit next to last month's.
- [Empty land](/uses/empty-land). Regular photos and videos of a plot, with a step for anything new or written, such as signs, painted notices, new work or materials that aren't yours.
- [Your parents' house](/uses/parents-house). Ask a relative or neighbor to visit the house or land while you live abroad.
- [Before you buy land](/uses/before-you-buy). Ask someone you choose to photograph the land before you travel or pay. Land checks search the records too. They are in Port Harcourt, Lagos and Abia State for now.
- [Landlords and investors](/uses/landlords). Visits between tenants, and before and after repairs, with a separate history for each property.
- [Family property](/uses/family-property). Everyone in the family follows the same visits.
- [Contractors and agents](/uses/contractors-and-agents). Give owners a clean record of each visit instead of scattered photos.
- [Groups and organizations](/uses/groups-and-organizations). Follow a hall, school or clinic being built back home, or keep a record for each of several sites.
See all of them on the Uses page. A NEMZION record shows what was seen, where and when. It doesn't establish legal title. See What a record can't establish.
