What a record can't establish
What can't a NEMZIO record establish?
Legal title or ownership, legal boundaries, construction quality, safety or value. A record is evidence about what was captured at the property, where and when.
A record can't:
- establish who owns the property, or legal boundaries
- certify construction, its quality or its safety
- value the property
- guarantee that evidence wasn't manipulated
- tell you whether to pay someone
What it does: show, in plain words, where and when evidence was captured, how much of the property it covered, what changed, and how it compares with what you were told, including any uncertainty.
