What is “Anything new or written?”

A step on every visit. The person on site photographs any signboard, writing on a wall, notice, or new building work or materials that aren't yours. If there's nothing like that, they tap None seen.

Every visit ends its usual photos with Anything new or written?. The person on site photographs:

  • a signboard, or writing or markings painted on a wall, such as “Remove by order” or “Not for sale”
  • a notice put up on the property
  • new building work, or building materials, that aren't yours

They can take more than one photo. If there's nothing like that, they tap None seen. The visit can't be sent until they have done one or the other.

In the record

What they found is near the top of the visit's record, with its photos: Something was photographed, or None seen in their words. It is also in the PDF report and on a shared record (which never shows who made the visit). When something seems wrong at the property, look here first.

A photo of a sign or notice shows what was there on the day. It says nothing about who owns the property.

Older versions of the app

The person on site needs an up-to-date NEMZION app for this step. A visit made with an older version doesn't have it, and its record doesn't show it.
