What is NEMZION Land?

Land checks are only in parts of Nigeria for now: Port Harcourt (Rivers State), Lagos (Lagos State) and Abia State. Abuja is coming soon. For a property in Nigeria, join the list from the property's page and we'll email you when it opens.

Before you pay the seller, NEMZION Land checks the records for you:

• Charting (Survey Search): Checks the land's coordinates against relevant survey and planning records for government acquisition, released land, coordinate conflicts and possible overlap with another parcel.
• Root of Title (Title History Search): Review of the property's ownership and title history through the applicable records.
• Full Land Check: Combines the survey/charting review and title-history review in one order.

The completed reports, and any documents the search returns, are kept with the property's record. A report describes what the search found in the records searched on that date. Charting doesn't by itself show ownership, and NEMZION doesn't promise title.
