How to delete your account

Deleting your account is different from cancelling a plan. Read what happens first.

1. 01Tap the Account tab, then Account and settings.
2. 02Tap More settings, then Delete your account.
3. 03Read What happens.
4. 04Tap Delete my account.
5. 05Tap Delete my account again to confirm.
6. 06Confirm it's you: with your password, a code sent to your phone, or the Google, Microsoft or Apple account you sign in with.

The app then says Your account is scheduled for deletion, with the date. Until then nothing changes.

Change your mind

Open Delete your account again and tap Cancel the deletion before the date.

If you see “Before you can delete it”

Some things need sorting out first. The screen lists them. Tap Open the website to do them, then come back to this screen.

What happens to visits you did

If you visited other people's properties, the visits you did stay with those owners, shown as by “Deleted account”. Your access to their properties ends.
