How to add a property

Say where it is

1. 01On Home, tap Add a property at the bottom of the page. If you haven't added one yet, tap Add your property.
2. 02Under Where is the property?, tap one of the ways shown below.
3. 03Follow the steps for that way until the pin is on your property.
4. 04Tap Continue.

The ways:

• I'm there now: uses this phone's location. Use it only when you're standing at the property.
• Find it on the map: type the address or a landmark, tap Search, then move the pin onto the property.
• Paste a Google Maps link: paste the link, or type its coordinates, then tap Use this.
• Upload a survey plan: NEMZIO reads the coordinates printed on it. You only see this on plans that include it.
• Ask the person visiting to pin it: you give the rough area, they mark the exact spot when they're there, and you check it after. You only see this when it's available.

Name it

1. 01Under What do you call it?, type a name, for example "Mum's house".
2. 02Under What is it?, tap House, Land or Building site.
3. 03Tap Continue.

Save it

1. 01On Check and save, look at the name, what it is and where it is. Tap Change next to anything that's wrong.
2. 02Tick the box to confirm that the information and location shown identify your property.
3. 03Tap Save.
4. 04Tap See the property.

If you chose Ask the person visiting to pin it, there's no box to tick: tap Save and ask them. If you haven't invited them yet, do that next: see How to invite the person on site.

You can add the address details, plot number, notes and documents later, from the property's Details. If all the places in your plan are in use, Home says so under Add a property: see How to see or change your plan.
