How to close or reopen a property

Open the property, tap Details, then Close property. It becomes read-only and its records are kept. The property's owner can reopen it later when a place in the plan is free.

Close a property when the land was sold, the build finished or you no longer need it.

Close it

  1. 01Open the property.
  2. 02Tap Details.
  3. 03Under Close property, tap Close property.
  4. 04Read what happens, then tap Close property again. Tap Keep it open if you change your mind.

What closing does:

  • The property becomes read-only. Its records, visits and films are kept, and you can still view and export them.
  • No new visits, requests or people. Open requests are withdrawn.
  • Its place in your plan stays used for a while, then frees.

Reopen it

  1. 01Open the property.
  2. 02Tap Details.
  3. 03Tap Reopen property.

Reopening counts as adding a property, so it needs a free place in your plan. You can also reopen it from the Account tab: Account and settings, Plan details, then Closed and paused properties.

Paused properties

Pausing is done on the website, under Account & plan, then Plan limits. A paused property keeps its records, and new visits need it resumed. To resume it in the app, open it, tap Details, then Resume property.

Only the property's owner can close, reopen, pause or resume it. See What happens when I close or pause a property?
